Keeping your Butt Worked for Total Body Beauty

A lot of people who like to think that they are in a good health regime and are doing good for their body image rarely even consider their butt as something that they can concentrate on. This probably is the fault of many trainers or even the many magazines that we subscribe too that simply don't put enough emphasis on the butt to be something worthy of further development.

The big mistake that many people do and still continue to do is to classify the butt as either a part of the leg or the part of the back, so when they exercise their legs they think that they are exercising their butt, or when they are doing their back they think they are also doing their butt. This simply isn't the way we should approach the development of the butt. Instead of thinking of the butt as a component of other "sets", we have to think of the butt as a body set that requires its own specific training. Much like how you might set days for "arms", "legs", "shoulders" etc, the proper way is to set days to focus on your butt too.

One other factor that makes the training of the butt less efficient is the lack of understanding regarding the types of exercises that will work the butt versus those that will work the back or the legs. The problem is that the exercises that hit the back and the legs are very similar to the ones that work the butt. Most health and fitness instructors or even instructional guides do not go into the subtleties of each exercise and how if set up in a slightly different way will actually put the focus on the butt muscles. It is a little known fact that many celebrities who earn the bulk of their money by the way they look do actually have programs that will develop their butts and also any surrounding muscles to achieve the look they want. This fact is almost never published in magazines and is never reported on as most celebrities actually keep their real exercise and dieting routines a secret while telling everyone else standard spinned gibberish about how they get their bodies to look so good. Celebrities know that in order to build a body that is balanced and beautiful it is vital that the butt be given enough priority.

It is only at the higher end of the health and fitness spectrum that people know the concept of body shaping. The concept of body shaping is that there is no one single component or part of the body that can be considered beautiful. It is how all the components and parts of the body come together that defines it as beautiful. Basically the beauty of the entire body is greater than the sum of all its components or parts put together. The two very simple elements that will define this beauty are symmetry and balance. It is only with these two components that a body can be called beautiful. Symmetry is when the length or sizes of your body is proportional to everything else. For example, the size of your feet have to symmetrical to the length of your shin, the size of your arm must be proportional to the width of you shoulders etc. If any of these are "off-ratio" then you will have to work on it to get the symmetry back. Balance on the other hand deals with how centered your body is and how different you are from left to right. If you have an arm that is longer than the other then you aren't balanced and thus aren't beautiful. From this you can easily see that the importance is having your entire package look good. Your butt being a part of the package means that you have to get your butt looking good too!

We think that the butt is neglected in most exercise of health circles today. Even though the butt consist of important stability muscles and is worked on a daily basis by us walking and conduction our normal activities, more work has to be done on it in order for it fit your whole body image if you are active with your body building activities. For the vast majority of us who spend time in the gym, we are guilty of neglecting our butts in our exercise routines. When you think about it there is almost no sense in building the rest of your body to perfection and not concentrate on our butt too. It is as if you are willing to make your body beautiful but are happy to keep your butt looking mediocre and bring all your efforts to a halt.
