My Sink Is Stealing My Hair And I Want It Back! Fight The Sink!

Heredity, hormones, stress, diet, illness, and poor hair care " all are factors in hair loss. Stress, diet and illness are more temporary conditions and usually the hair loss is reversed when the anxiety-producing conditions dissipate or when the diet is improved or when hair care improves and when an illness is cured or finally gotten under control.

There is no stopping heredity but you can stop DHT. DHT is what causes the hair follicles to shrink up so that old hair can not be replaced. This is why you must stop DHT in order to see true Hair Regrowth

Small changes in amounts of DHT can make a huge difference for or against hair loss and hair regrowth. Hair re-growth products have always and will always be around. Many ancient tribes had many remedies for hair loss but modern medicine has focused on re stimulating dead hair follicles so that hair growth can happen naturally.

Minoxidil has become a standard in most over the counter and prescription hair loss products. Please make sure whatever product that you try to regrow you hair with has minoxidil as a main ingredient, otherwise it is a total waste of time.

Rogaine and Provillus are the top players in the hair loss product market today. Provillus is better but Rogaine has staying power which is obvious by how long the product has been on the market.

The largest difference with provillus and other hair loss products is the ingredient Azelaic Acid which repairs hair and regrows hair. the Major key to the effectiveness, according to its makers, is the addition of the azelaic acid, however, the correct amount of this acid is most important piece of this treatment. As with most hair loss products, the makers recommend patience.

All hair loss products take time. There is no miracle pill. Please don't think that your hair will regrow over night. Only God could do that. If that is what you are looking for you will be better off keeping your money in your pocket and spending a long time on your knees in prayer.

Women's Hair Loss - Hair Today And Gone Tomorrow!

A full head of beautiful hair on a woman is loved in today's society. As women become older, so too does the hair and, depending upon diet, lifestyle, heredity and disease, hair becomes grey, brittle, and, in some cases much thinner.

Luckily, today women are able to do something about all of these conditions and keep a more youthful appearance for longer.

Probably the most devastating hair problem for women is thinning and balding. The gray can be colored; conditioners can restore suppleness, but no easy fix is available for significant hair loss. It is important to first isolate the cause of hair loss before making the decision to do something. Causes can be determined by a physician and may include one or more of the following:

1. Heredity: From both parents, propensity for hair loss can be inherited and, unfortunately, is a permanent condition.

2. Stress/Anxiety: Life-changing events, such as death or divorce, as well as career and financial stresses may take their toll on hair growth. Fortunately, the condition is temporary and will dissipate as the cause does.

3. Disease: Certain diseases (e.g., Diabetes, Lupus) will cause hair loss. However, once treatment has started and the disease is under control, the hair loss can reverse itself. Drugs for diseases can also cause hair loss and, again, once the drug is stopped, hair usually returns.

4. Diet/Exercise: Lack of exercise, a bad diet and lack of hydration can cause hair loss to accelerate beyond the normal (normal being 100 or so strands a day). Again, with a better lifestyle this can be reversed.

5. Skin and Scalp Infections: With treatment, hair loss will reverse.

6. Menopause: Many women experience increased hair loss with the onset of menopause, this too may be permanent. There are two types of permanent hair loss in women. The first is patterned, in which hair is lost on the top of the head but remains intact on the back of the head. The other is non-patterned, where hair loss occurs throughout the head and, eventually, leads to a bald appearance. Dependent upon the type, there are several, although limited, options.

There are hair loss products on the market specifically for women. This is important, because male products are not advised and can, indeed, be dangerous. With these products the hair loss process will slow down and may stimulate some regrowth.

Wigs are now fashion accessories, and even women with normal hair often have several. This is a fortunate societal trend for sufferers of hair loss.

Surgical procedures are available and are effective for patterned hair loss, because hair from the back of the head can be transplanted to the thinning frontal areas. These options are expensive and not covered by health insurance.

Fortunately, a low-cost way of treating hair loss is by using Provillus. Provillus is an oral supplement, which works to block DHT, a form of testosterone that is responsible for 95 percent of hair loss. In addition, it also works to stimulate the scalp and bring dead follicles back to life. You can use Provillus as a preventive supplement, starting the program before hair loss becomes severe, or you can use it after DHT has already begun to take hold of your hair and scalp.

Hair loss treatment is an individual choice. Women whose moods and happiness are affected by hair loss should do something about it. Women who are in the public eye and who feel the need to be as attractive as possible should do something about their thinning hair. Isolate the cause and develop a plan of action.

Hair Loss Product Debate - Toppik Vs. Organin

After writing a review for Organin, I decided it to put together a review of Toppik as well. I am going to present the facts about them and let you decide which one is actually better. Both products are similar in nature, and I feel that many of my readers out there may be trying to decide between them.

What Are Toppik and Organin, and How Do They Work? Essentially, Toppik and Organin are the same product at heart. They do the same thing, but they are made by different companies. Both Toppik and Organin is not at all designed to increase hair growth or decrease hair loss, as you probably already know. They are essentially there just to cover up bald spots on your head so that they are less noticeable.

Both Toppik and Organin are made up of a fibrous substance called keratin that looks more like real hair than just a simple spray coloring bottle would, so in that sense, it's a lot better than many products intended to cover up bald spots that are more like spray paint than real hair.

Both come in a number of colors, so for most people, it's not too hard to get a color that matches your real hair color, and you can get it to match up pretty well. However, it's never going to match your hair perfectly, so sometimes it is quite noticeable to other people. In my opinion, the last thing you need when you are trying to cover up your bald spots is something to draw attention to it. Because it's not permanently attached, it can also flake off on occasion and get on your clothes, which can also be a major drawback. I personally used Organin, and I did have this problem.

Just because some people have problem finding a good color for their to help match their natural hair does not mean that you will have the same problem. For most hair types and textures, both Organin and Toppik do a pretty good job of blending in with the natural hair. Unfortunately there is really no way to know for sure if that is the case until you try it and find out.

In my own experience, I have found products of this nature to be potentially good on SOME occasions, such as for family pictures. If you are VERY self conscious about having thinning hair, either one of them would be a good buy, and the most important considerations for you should probably be the price and getting a color that matches your hair well.

Toppik vs. Organin - Which One Wins? I would say it's a dead even tie for which one actually works better. I know that Toppik has a satisfaction guarantee, and I don't know if I can say the same for Organin. Considering the fact that you may find that it's not for you, it's a good idea to buy a product with a guarantee. If I were to buy one of them, I would go with Toppik because it has the money-back guarantee. I didn't know that when I bought Organin a while back, but hopefully that little bit of information will help you.

If you are interested in products that contain ingredients that legitimately help to regrow hair rather than cover up bald spots, I would recommend any products that contain minoxidil. Minoxidil is an FDA approved ingredient that works on most people who try it. So, it's a good idea to give it a try if you are serious about your hair loss.

Rogaine vs. Organin - Hair Loss Product Battle

After going through a fairly long trial period where I was trying to find out what I could use to either stop my hair loss or find some way to cover it up, I have discovered a lot of products that work well, and a lot that do not work well. I realize that a lot of people are having a Rogain vs Organin debate, and would like some advice to help them make the final decision. I have used both, so in order to help you decide which one is right for you, I have provided the information I know about it so you can decide for yourself.

What is Rogain and Does Rogain Work? Rogain is a topical solution that has been available for use for quite a long time. Its main active ingredient is called Minoxidil. This "secret ingredient" is designed to help increase blood flow in your scalp and therefore increase hair growth.

For most people who use Rogaine, they find that their hair falls out a lot faster for the first couple of weeks, because the hair follicles are preparing to grow newer, healthier hair. After about 3 months, most people begin to see an increase in the amount of new hair they have growing in, as well as a decrease in the amount of hair that they have falling out. about 85% of all customers see some hair regrowth after at least a 6 month period. So, it does work. It usually costs about $35-$40 for a one month supply of Rogaine.

Because Rogain has been on the market for quite a while, they lost their exclusive patent and so other companies have been able to begin to market products with Minoxidil as viable solutions for treating hair loss. I personally use Provillus, and if you are interested in reading more about it, I have written another article about it that you can find on IUsedToBeBald.com.

What Is Organin and How Does It Work? Organin is not at all designed to increase hair growth or decrease hair loss, as you probably already know. It's essentially there just to cover up bald spots on your head so that they are less noticeable. It is made up of a fibrous substance called keratin that looks more like real hair than just a simple spray coloring bottle would, so in that sense, it's a lot better than many products intended to cover up bald spots that are more like spray paint than real hair.

Organin comes in a number of colors, so for most people, it's not too hard to get a color that matches your real hair color, and it won't be incredibly noticable to people who see your hair up close.

I have personally use Organin and have found it to be potentially good on SOME occasions, such as for family pictures. But, I personally don't expect I will ever have reason to use it again now that I have found a product that effectively stops hair loss so I don't even have to worry about covering up bald spots.

Rogain vs. Organin - Which One Is Better? It's hard to say which product is legitimately better, because they do not do the same thing. Like I said, if you want to look good for family pictures, you may want to get some organin and see how well you can make it work. But, if you are looking for a product that is FDA approved to grow hair so you won't even have to use Organin ever again, you should go for Rogain or any other product that contains Minoxidil instead. Because most people do see results, it's a good idea to at least try it.
